Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2025
Our Commitment to Privacy
LuaRex is built with privacy in mind. As a decentralized exchange, we minimize the collection of personal data. We do not require account creation, email addresses, or personal identification to use the platform. You connect your own wallet and trade directly through smart contracts.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide and improve the Interface:
- Wallet addresses: When you connect your wallet to the Interface, your public wallet address is used to facilitate interactions with the protocol. Wallet addresses are publicly visible on the blockchain by design.
- Technical data: Our servers may automatically log standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and access times. This data is used solely for maintaining the security and performance of the Interface.
- Local preferences: Your trading preferences, settings, and layout configurations are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to us.
Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not collect:
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- We do not require identity verification or KYC procedures.
- We do not use analytics or tracking services to monitor user behavior.
- We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Blockchain Data
All transactions executed through the protocol are recorded on the Ethereum blockchain and are publicly visible. This includes wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and timestamps. This data is inherent to blockchain technology and is outside of our control. We cannot modify, delete, or hide blockchain transactions.
Third-Party Services
The Interface integrates with third-party services that may have their own privacy practices:
- Wallet providers: Services such as WalletConnect and MetaMask are used to connect your wallet. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.
- Blockchain infrastructure: The Interface may use RPC providers to communicate with the Ethereum network. These providers may log request data according to their own policies.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the security of the Interface and any data processed through it. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Your primary security measure is the protection of your own wallet and private keys.
Your Rights
Since we collect minimal personal data and do not maintain user accounts, most traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion) are inherently satisfied. If you believe we hold any data about you and wish to exercise your rights under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR), please contact us through our support channels.
Children
The Interface is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Interface after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
